Certified Nurses Assistant

Becoming a CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant) can be a deeply rewarding career path for many people interested in performing personal care work or basic companionship services.

CNAs can work in a number of different care settings. These job settings include nursing home facilities.

Certified Medication Technician

A certified medication Technician (CMT) is a type of certified nursing assistant trained to dispense medication to patients in hospitals and other health facilities.

The CMT can also perform nursing assistant duties such as patient care. It is an entry-level role that you can use to build a long-term career in the health care industry.

You MUST be a CNA in Missouri for at least six (6) months to take the CMT course.

Medical Billing & Coding

The Medical Billing and Coding course is designed to prepare students for entry level employment as a Medical Biller/Coder who performs administrative duties including medical billing and coding.  Medical billing involves submitting and following up on claims to insurance companies to receive payment for service rendered.   Students will learn to manage records and file claims, prepare insurance forms and handle billing. 

Graduates of this program will have a working knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, insurance billing, re-imbursement and may assist in daily operations of the facility. 

CNA with Patient Care Tech (PCT)

The primary objective of the Certified Nurse Assistant/Patient Care Technician is to provide students with the hands-on training necessary to offer high-quality care to patients while working alongside other qualified health care professionals. Course offerings include training in hospitals, nursing homes and home health agencies, as well as courses of study and practice in skills related to patient care.

Graduates of this program are in high demand because this program is very unique. Students will graduate with certification in both Certified Nurse Assistant and Patient Care Technician, also with skills in EKG and Phlebotomy. They will be qualified to work in any medical facility as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician.

Customer Service/Call Center Representative

This class is intended to give participants knowledge of and appreciation of the importance of the customer concept in its entirety. It is designed to successfully train and develop customer service professionals. Course content includes soft skills, customer service skills, computer skills, and automated call simulation.  They will also gain a full understanding of the Call Center role and expectations.

There are many openings in the customer service industry today and growth is expected in years to come.  Graduates can expect to find jobs in almost any public or private industry.
